About the meeting

The meeting is a bi-annual three-day educational event organized by the Czech Society for Cardiovascular Surgery. Traditionally held in Brno, the second largest Czech city, it usually hosts around 450 cardiac and vascular surgeons, nurses, and other health professionals and around 30 exhibiting companies – producers and distributors of surgical material, medical devices, and pharmaceuticals.

The scientific program is divided into three main tracks: cardiac surgery, vascular surgery, and a session for nurses and other health professionals. It also includes poster sessions and hands-on workshops. Part of the program is held in English (please see the list of invited talks below).
